The office, called A Lonely Office, is named Ralph and says he started his foray into the online community because he's lonely and the office next door didn't password protect their Wi-Fi. Why is Ralph online? He's looking for friends. I'm not making this up people. Not only does he blog and all that, now he's (6 comments)

networking: What Is Your Strongest Quality? - 04/17/09 09:07 AM
I had a telephone interview earlier this week with a prospective client. One of the questions he asked me was this: "What do you consider your strongest quality?" That was easy. I consider my strength the fact that I feel my client's success is my success. I have to do my best for my clients because they depend on me. They need my help or else they wouldn't be interviewing me. My job is to help them. My strength lies in my desire to see my clients succeed. When their business grows, my business grows. Do you feel that way about your clients? In (21 comments)

networking: Different Strokes for Different Folks - 12/22/08 03:52 PM
I read a blog where someone really didn't "get" blogging - Why Blog by Mike Butson. After someone made a comment on my post about not seeing any value for getting business on Twitter, I started thinking about how we feel about the marketing methods we choose to utilize to grow our respective businesses. One thing I realized was that everything isn't for everybody. Not everyone will "get" blogging. Not everyone will get Facebook, or LinkedIn or Twitter. Some will not get any form of online networking and marketing. We all need to realize that there will be different strokes for different (6 comments)

I'm need more clients so Hire Me!" And daily, several times during the day - the same thing. Hey, I understand that people approach social media in different ways and I really need to get into (22 comments)
