Only one single family home sold in the market which is a home in 450 Municipal Ave. The property was listed for $319,000 and sold for 301,000 and was listed for 15 days. It was a great location with three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with 1,135square ft., a large corner lot and plenty of space to live in.

Kelowna Property sales drop in November There were fewer property sales in November compared to a year ago.
Overall sales declined from 128 in 2009 to 101 last month, a 21.09 per cent decrease. Total residential sales dropped by 19.64 per cent over last November to 90 from 112.
Year to date, residential sales are only off by 7.57 per cent from last year at this time (to 1,257 from 1,360).
“Home sales bottomed out in July and activity has trended upwards since then with current figures reflective of 2001 levels,” said Darcy Griffiths, with the Okanagan Mainline Real Estate Board.

By Bruce Walkinshaw - Penticton Western NewsPublished: December 02, 2010 6:00 PM Updated: December 02, 2010 9:54 PM A soft real estate market has forced Penticton council to reconsider its valuing of Munson Mountain land.
Council approved reducing the price of two city-owned lots at 1125 and 1275 Munson Ave. by $50,000 each at a Nov. 12 in-camera meeting. Councillors Garry Litke and Dan Albas voted against the move.
