As I stand on the balcony I see the faint light of something off in the distance. It is barely visible to my eye, yet it exists and it is there... It HAS to be! My camera caught it!

Last Thursday, October 19, 2007 much of the midwest was taken by storms. The storms took 3 lives in Michigan. My sympathies to the families in Michigan and elsewhere around the country who were affected by these storm systems. As these storms rolled through our area I found them prophetic. Living in a community with underground power lines we have rarely experienced in the past 17 years more than a half day without power. We have gas water heat and a gas range so it's not that big a deal...one can always bypass the electronic ignition on the range to eat (20 comments)

The OLD School BMX riders will remember the Grand Rapids, Michigan tracks from the late 80's and early 90's. It has been said that we had the 5th largest ridership in the US history! Two Die Hard OLD SCHOOL riders, Tim Irwin and Ted Ruys are responsible for bringing BMX back (25 comments)
