bmx: BMX is BACK!!! in Grand Rapids Michigan!!! UPDATED - 10/08/07 11:14 PM
The OLD School BMX riders will remember the Grand Rapids, Michigan tracks from the late 80's and early 90's. It has been said that we had the 5th largest ridership in the US history!
Two Die Hard OLD SCHOOL riders, Tim Irwin and Ted Ruys are responsible for bringing BMX back to Grand Rapids, Michigan! These gentlemen have negotiate a long, hard two years with the city of Grand Rapids to find a site suitable for a new NBL sanctioned track in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

bmx: What Makes A Bicycle Race Green? - 07/22/07 03:17 AM
I’m very excited to be heading to Victoria, British Columbia for the 2007 World BMX (Bicycle MotoCross) Championship. My daughter is an athlete in this event!
 
You are probably asking “What is green about that?”
 
I think it is very fitting that the Bicycle Championships are being held in Victoria. Victoria is well known for it’s bicycling and is known as the “Cycling Capital of Canada”. The city has a Bicycling Master Plan that is an ongoing program to develop more and safer bike lanes.
