Saugus, MA Breakheart Dog Park - 03/21/11 09:13 AM
Yesterday was the official first day of Spring 2011.  Time to do some serious dog walking.  The Breakheart Reservation in Saugus, MA is a great place to bring your dog.  The dogs have their own Dog Park where they can go unleashed and play with others.  While you are there, take advantage of one of the many hiking trails (leash required).  I have previously written about Breakheart here: http://d69ec52.activerain.com/local/Massachusetts/Saugus
It is truly a great place if you love the outdoors!

Has the High Price of Gas Changed The Way You Do Business? - 03/08/11 07:51 AM
I don't know about you, but I found myself wondering if the price of gas is going to reach $5.00 a gallon soon. This increase in gas has also caused me to re-evaluate my business. The upside to all of this is that by re-evaluating my business choices, I am reaping the benefits of being more organized and streamlined.  For instance, I no longer make several appointments to see property.  I want to get the most homes shown in the most efficient way.  I research and diagram the shortest routes.

Gone are the days when I took one buyer to see … (7 comments)

Now Is A Great Time to Purchase Your Starter House - 03/04/11 09:51 AM
A starter home is usually the term used to describe a property that is the first a prospective buyer can afford to purchase.  The price of this home will vary from buyer to buyer, usually depending on what each individual can afford.  If you were following market conditions during the 2002-2007 housing boom, you probably saw more and more condos taking the place of starter homes.  The recent decline in the economy has changed this trend. What I see right now is a comeback of the starter house.
Today's buyers are savvy. They have researched the market and have gone on the Internet many, many months … (2 comments)

Boston Magazine Includes Milton, MA in Annual "Best Places To Live" - 03/02/11 08:59 AM
Boston Magazine has this year listed Milton, MA in its "Best Places to Live" feature article. This marks the second year in a row that Milton has made the list.  It is not hard to figure out why Milton is a great town. First, Milton is located only 8 miles from downtown Boston, a commuter's dream.  A train ride into town takes a mere 15 minutes. Second, it has a great school system, with students consistently scoring high marks on state-wide exams.  Third, Milton has a great mix of local business, with restaurants, shops and small grocery stores easily accessible from all parts of town. St. Patrick's Day Events In Wakefield, MA - 03/01/11 08:19 AM
Wakefield, MA is located a mere 12 miles north of Boston.  Wakefield has a great small town feel.  It is also a smart choice if you commute to work, as there are two commuter train stops in town.  Wakefield encompasses an area of approximately 8 square miles and has two lakes located in the center of town: Crystal Lake and Lake Quannapowitt. Crystal Lake is used as a reservoir for some of the town's drinking water.
Lake Quannapowitt is used for a wide variety of recreational activities, including boating, windsurfing and fishing, and is the primary source of the Saugus river.  When the … (2 comments)
