We thought it would be helpful to include our interpretation of alternative possible meanings to some commonly used phrases in real estate.
"No neighbors behind" -- Probably backs to a busy street. Check a map before you schedule a viewing.
"Light and Bright" -- Window coverings not included.
"Low Maintenance" -- No yard.
"Immaculately maintained" -- The orange countertops and green shag carpet are still in excellent shape.
"Mountain View" -- You MIGHT be able to see some mountains from one of the rooms if you press your cheek to a window and look west, or climb on the roof.

real estate: Thinking of Buying a Home in the Denver, Colorado area - 10/31/07 11:36 AM

Denver squeaked out the No. 1 ranking in a national report on home prices released Tuesday, Oct 30, 2007.
Denver-area homes gained 0.3 percent in value from July to August. This is the start of the positive market trends in our market.
Although a small appreciation rate, it was good enough to make Denver top in the nation during that period. The 20 cities ranked showed an overall average decline of 0.7 percent.
It looks like Denver may be one of the first markets in the turnaround mode. Denver has had five positive months of price movement in a row. This will be followed … (1 comments)
