"And it will affect the condominium market and second home market (Florida Keys) and their values until a change is made in the future.
Effective Wednesday, Feb. 4, Wells Fargo Home Mortgage will no longer allow financing for Conforming Resort Condominium transactions. ALL Conforming Resort Condominium loans must fund by May 1, 2009.

Florida Keys boaters are cautioned by a small-craft advisory to stay off the water until Saturday.....What to do Instead!!!! National Weather Service forecasters in Key West are also warning that windy conditions will prevail until Sunday, prompting notices to boaters that Keys waters will become very rough and could be dangerous to smaller vessels.
A "massive" arctic region of high pressure over the Great Plains will build southward over the next few days. That will generate strong winds over Keys waters beginning Thursday night, according to the current NWS marine forecast.

So what if the lender wants SOME of their money back on a SHORT SALE???? - 01/18/09 05:55 PM
Call me old fashioned but I think a promise is a promise and your word should be your bond. So, when I sign to pledge to pay a mortgage I am agreeing to pay that money back. I am not agreeing that I will pay the money back only if my income stays the same, the value of the home does not decrease or I want out.

Many airlines run fantastic specials into the Miami (MIA) and the Fort Lauderdale (FLL) airports. Sometimes these flights are so cheap you just can’t pass them up.
