A large custom home in Desert Mountain Scottsdale burned to the ground on Monday night. It was a 12,000 square foot custom home under construction. The home was estimated to be 80% completed at the time of the the fire. The fire was determined to be accidental, related to the construction of the home. The Desert Mountain home was a complete loss. No one was home at the time and no one was injured. Fires in Desert Mountain Scottsdale are very rare. Damage to the home was estimated to be approximately $3.5 Million.
