Main Street Crossing in Tomball TX
I watched Main Street Crossing in Tomball being built and wondered what it was.  To be quite honest, several years later I was still confused.  I was not sure whether it was a coffee house, bar, or a place for live entertainment.  Then my friend Diane Holland started marketing for them and I found out it was all of those things but bundled in a non-profit ministry.

Clear Creek Forest is a country acreage community located close to Magnolia; about an hour northwest of Houston.  You will find lots ranging in size from ½ acre to larger parcels of 4 to 5 acres.  
It is a quiet peaceful subdivion with lots of nature right at your back door.  As you can see by the bottom picture it is not uncommon to see deer in the subdivison. If you are looking for an affordable country subdivision this might be just the one for you.

Londonderry is located in Spring TX in Northwest Harris County off of Kuykendah, with easy access to the Woodlands.
Londonderry has around 450 homes.  Homes were built in the late 1970's and early 1980's then again in the middle 1990's to the early 2000's.  There are towering pines and hardwoods throughout the subdivision.  The subdivision has some great amenities. There is a community center with an Olympic size swimming pool, playground, tennis courts and a small pond behind the clubhouse

Tomball Train DepotTomball is celebrating its Centennial and how appropriate that after relocation and renovation this was the year that the Tomball Depot was dedicated to once again rest beside the tracks.  When the first freight train came to Tomball back in 1907, the town was named Peck.  By the end of that year the town's name was changed to Tom Ball in honor of Thomas Henry Ball an attorney for the Trinity & Brazos Railroad who was instrumental in convincing administrators to place the line where they did.

Litter - I don't get it!!! - 08/20/07 03:02 PM
As I have been driving around today I have been noticing the amount of litter on the sides of our roads.  I live in Northwest Harris County if I got to the south of where I live it is being maintained by Precinct 4 and they do an okay job.  They use prisoners to clean the roads and I see them once or twice a month but I know it is overwhelming.  If I go north from where I live; that has started to be maintained by the Woodlands as they are building a Village in Northwest Harris County.  For quite … (27 comments)

Londonderry is a subdivision located in Spring TX in Northwest Harris County off of Kuykendahl; with easy access to the Woodlands. The homes were built in the late 1970’s and 1980’s and then there are also sections that were built in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s. With around 450 homes in the subdivision there is a wide range of architecture.

New Texas law requiring disclosure of fire dection & safety devices! - 08/15/07 10:35 PM
I was reading the Texas Realtor magazine and came across information about a bill that affects all of us that live in the state of Texas.  It has to do with fire safety requirements and affects owners, sellers, and landlords of residential property; I would say that is just about everyone.  The new law takes effect on September 1 and is enacted as Texas House Bill 2118.
As a seller the new law requires that seller's disclose information regarding the presence of fire detection and safety devices.  You must disclose smoke detectors, hearing impaired smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors and emergency escape … (8 comments)
