Sherwood Forest in Tomball TexasSherwood Forest is a small subdivision located in the city limits of Tomball Texas, off of Baker Road and SH 249.  There are about 150 homes in the subdivision.   If you are looking for a subdivision with light restrictions and a low HOA fee this might be just what you are looking for.  You may have your travel trailer in the yard but no permanent mobile homes are allowed in the subdivision.  By low HOA fees the fees at the present time are $10 per year.

Santa Host pets night at the Woodlands MallGet your pets picture taken with Santa at the Woodlands Mall!! This even takes place on Monday evenings; November 26th, December 3rd and 10th from 6:00 to 9:00. 
Pets night will be in Santa's studio at the Woodlands Mall.  Pet owners should use the south entrance between Urban Outfitters and Dillards.  Santa will be holding pet court on the lower level just in front of JC Pennies.  They are requesting cats and dogs only; sorry no exotic pets.  All pets must be on a lease or in a carrier.

42nd Annual Tomball Holiday Parade will be Saturday November 17th starting at 10:00.   
The Tomball Holiday Parade begins on Main Street at the rail road tracks in downtown Tomball and continues down FM 2920 to SH 249.   Main Street in Tomball is FM 2920.
What better way to start your holiday season off than to kick it off with a parade. This year is also a birthday party so to speak as Tomball continues to celebrate their Centennial year.

Mr. and Mrs. Seller you need to make your home available for showings! - 11/14/07 10:17 AM
Mr. and Mrs. Seller if you are going to all the work to list your house with a Realtor it is extremely important that you go to the extra work of accepting showings when they are called in.  I recently had out of town buyers in for one day only.  They gave me a list of 10 homes that they wanted to see.  I made my appointments through a showing service with a four hour notice to the seller's.  These were being shown on a Monday in the afternoon.  Out of the 10 homes I tried to schedule four sellers declined our showing.

The Greatest Generation - revisiting their battlefield campaigns! - 11/11/07 06:24 PM
I was listening to Laura Ingraham while I was driving Friday. As an honor to Veterans Day she was interviewing Timothy Davis who founded The Greatest Generations Foundation.  It is a Denver based non profit that was founded to offer our combat veterans the opportunity to revisit the sites of their battlefield campaigns free of charge.  This would include generations of men and women who fought in World War I, World War II, Korea and Vietnam.   I don't expect there are many if any World War I veterans left but we still have a lot of World War II veterans although we … (47 comments)
