Danny's Trix and Kix is located in Spring TX at the corner of FM 2920 and Meadowhill. (between I-45 and Falvel)
Halloween is of course their busy time of the year as you can see by the full parking lot. I had to drive around the store twice to find a place to park.
They both rent and sale costumes and have all the accessories to go with your costume including wigs, beard's, masks, eyelashes, boas, scarves, makeup, hats etc. They have sizes from infants to plus sizes.

Lake Conroe Sailing Associations finishes their racing season with lots of wind!! - 10/27/10 05:55 PM
 
This last Saturday was the end of our sailboat racing season for Lake Conroe Sailing Association.  As you can tell from the slide show we ended the season with LOTS of wind!  It was a fun race!

I was taking pictures of Lake Conroe Sailing Associations last sailboat race of the season when this guy came on to my radar.  We often see him flying around the Lake but this was one of my first time to get such close up pictures.

Beaches at Panama City Beach Florida still Pristine and BEAUTIFUL!! - 10/18/10 11:21 AM

We recently took a vacation to Panama City Beach and I'm happy to tell you that that we saw NO tar balls.  The beaches were pristine and beautiful.  We had decided that we were going irregardless of whether the spill had affected the beaches as we knew summer tourism in the gulf coast was hit hard. 
Beyond tourism the oil spill has hit our entire gulf coast area hard. I will be honest though I think the moratorium has hit  almost as hard if not harder than the spill did. With the moratorium lifted it will be interesting to see if things will start getting back to normal.  From what I hear … (22 comments)

Tomball Business & Professional Women (TBPW) 2010 Fall Food Fest - October 18th, 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM!! - 10/17/10 01:01 PM

 
Tomball Business & Professional Women 12th Annual"Fall Food Fest" will be held at Tomball United Methodist Church on Baker Street this coming Tuesday, October 18th, 2010 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
Last year we were able to give 6 high school Seniors scholarships plus one additional scholarship to Lonestar college and one scholarship to Leadership North Houston. We are hoping that we will even be able to give more this coming year.  
 
This event serves as our organization's primary fund-raising effort to secure funds for scholarships for high school graduates in Tomball & Magnolia School Districts as well as a … (10 comments)

We just recently got back from vacation in Panama City Beach Florida.  I ended up with lots of pictures of birds and sunsets; which is not a bad thing as I love birds and sunsets.The beaches were absolutely gorgeous.  The one thing we did not see were tar balls.  The beaches were pristine with clear blue waters.  As you can see I Loved all the birds!

Liz Carter update - PLEASE KEEP HER IN YOUR PRAYERS!! - 10/01/10 12:18 PM
Fellow Active Rainer Liz Carter had a double lung and kidney transplant a week ago Thursday. At the time I wrote a post asking for prayers; this post is an update to what has transpired.  If you missed my first post here it is so you can get up to speed.
I spoke to Liz's husband Bill this morning and she has had a bit of a set back.  Everything was going very good and they were sitting her up for the first time on Monday when she had a series of mild strokes.  At the time it happened she was still in ICU … (58 comments)
