One of the many things that we love about living in Spring TX is our accessibility to Lake Conroe. We are in two sailing clubs at Lake Conroe and today Lake Conroe Sailing Association had a destination sail for lunch. We had 5 sail boats and 13 people meet at County Line Barbeque for lunch. We had great wind and it was a fun time for all. We started our racing experience on a 52’ sailboat with a friend in San Diego Bay. That experience was enough to give us the sailing bug and shortly after moving to Spring TX (43 comments)
Auburn Lakes is a master planned community covering over 500 acres in unincorporated Northwest Harris County. It is conveniently located just south of The Woodlands off of Gosling and Rayford Rd. As you can see from my title Auburn Lakes call themselves the closer woods and the name is totally appropriate.
As The Woodlands has grown their amenities are getting closer and closer to Auburn Lakes. If you are not sure that you want to live in The Woodlands but do like having access then Auburn Lakes could be the perfect solution for you. An additional bonus is (23 comments)
Tomball National Day of Prayer event at Tomball Depot May 5, 2011!! - 05/03/11 02:18 PM
Tomball is celebrating the National Day of prayer by having a prayer event at the historic Tomball depot. The event will take place Thursday May 5th at 12:00 noon. They are asking us to meet at the Gazebo by the Tomball depot and it should last about 30 minutes. This years theme is “A Mighty Fortress is Our God”. The National Day of Prayer was officially created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the U.S. Congress, and signed into law by President Harry Truman. Since 1952, every president has signed a National Day of Prayer proclamation. President Barack Obama on (9 comments)
One of the many things that I love about living in Spring is the fact that we live so close to Lake Conroe. I took these photos at our first Lake Conroe Sailing Association Thursday night race. Let the season begin!!!
