Being a real estate agent can backfire on ya sometimes.  Take, for example, the big head you might get by telling people what to do all the time (clean up your clutter, fix that leaky faucet, repair that chimney!).  And while it might work on our poor clients, I’m very sad to report that it doesn’t necessarily carry over to our personal lives (my house is littered with smelly socks belonging to my kids, stacks of paperwork and dog hair everywhere …  do I have control of the situation?  Fuggedaboutit).

In June of 2010 there were 35 homes that closed within the month for 20814 Bethesda, Maryland.  This was a decrease of 2 units, as there were 37 homes that closed in June of 2009. 
The average list price for homes that closed in June of 2009 was $834,337The average list price for homes that closed in June of 2010 was $740,637

The house you fell in love with today...  
You hear it all the time... "Oh- we made an offer on a great house, but we didn't get it."  The reasons can run the gamut:
We were overbid. Our price was too low/theirs was too high,  and in the end we couldn't make it work. The inspection came up with too many "items". (and, my personal favorite) We thought about it for too long and it was gone before we were even able to present the offer...
