Wordlesss Wednesday- Graveyards... Again - 09/28/11 03:28 PM
Lately, whenever I head out of town without the kids, I end up in a graveyard.  It's never planned.  Just happens.  Recently I took a trip to Nantucket.  My friend Rosie grew up across the street from a graveyard.  She said it was great for hide-n-go-seek. Benjamin Franklin's mother is buried here.  The first photo is part of an ornate gate where only portions remain.  I think the second photo is perfectly set with the spirit at the top of the gravestone contrasted with the gloomy background.

Original Source:  Donate Your Car in Montgomery County MD

Back when I was in high school a kid could take a class in auto mechanics. Usually classes were full of guys who were crazy about cars (or not so crazy about the rest of school). When I got around to buying my first clunker, I took a class at my local car repair shop. Taught me a lot of practical stuff.  With the recent spate of budget woes, I pretty much assumed that these classes had been done away with, like a lot of shop classes, or Home Economics … (2 comments)
