Hoschton GA - Congratulations to the new family in the community of Chateau Glen! This custom built, builder's personal home is really two homes in one!

Lake Lanier Waterfront Living

Living near Lake Lanier in beautiful Buford Georgia is such a blessing! This community offers so much for their residents. Obviously, there is Lake Lanier which is a gorgeous man made lake with over 500 miles of shoreline. This natural resource is home to many boaters, both of the cruising type and of the sailing kind. The main channel on the south end of the lake is filled with sails on a windy day and dotted with cruiser yachts and ski boats on any given day.

I addition to lake life living near Lake Lanier offers some amazing restaurants. You'll find most of the locals hanging out at Big Creek Tavern grabbing what most would tell you is the best food on the lake. Big Creek also offers a great patio scene to watch the ball games or to catch a few notes of the live music. If you're looking for a restaurant on Lake Lanier you can always head over to Lake Lanier Islands and have breakfast, lunch or dinner at Sunset Cove. The views are spectacular, it's family friendly and right on the beach. I will say the service is slow, so don't have the expectation of a quick meal or you'll leave frustrated. If you like eclectic living, the little lake roads surrounding Lake Lanier offer some beautiful options.
