url: URL: Brand Awareness or Keyword Rich? - 12/01/09 08:35 PM

Should you buy a keyword rich domain name or one that is memorable? People have debated this topic before. Experts on both sides have made compelling arguments.
Personally, I have always liked the keyword rich domain names. It makes me feel like I am doing something right when Google bolds the section of the URL with the phrase you just searched.
My first domain name was thesarasotamls.com which the Sarasota Association of Realtors stole away from me for trademark infringement. That was a bunch of crap but that is the topic of another blog post. My main website that receives … (18 comments)
