Market snapshot for the Fort Lauderdale area The median sales price for single-family homes in the Fort Lauderdale metro area rose 5 percent last month, with the median condominium sales price increasing 6 percent, according to data from the Miami Association of Realtors. Condo sales jumped 21 percent last month, and single-family sales rose 19 percent compared to August 2010 in Broward County. The facts and nothing but the facts please..... FHA DECREASES LOAN AMOUNTS BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 2011. Those are the facts, now what you really need to know. After years of steadily rising, the loan limits set by the government agency will be  decreased starting October 1st, 2011.

Luckily I have friends in high places! That would be the highrise condos along the great beaches of Fort Lauderdale. Today my friends and I will in the very spot in this photo frolicing in the warm surf, soak up the suns rays, probably drink too much beer & wine and enjoy a traditional cookout of specialty pizzas, lasagna, antipastos, sausage onion & pepper hoagies and assorted sweets . AND BACK TO SCHOOL THEY WENT - 09/01/11 08:19 AM
The summer of 2011 was one spent with many beach filled days for me. For one reason I live on it, but this one was special though as I got to be the "cool" uncle for 10 days. My Godson and nephew were flown down to be spoiled and free from all adult restrictions. We drank too much (soda), we dined extravagantly at the finest restaurants (pizza parlors), stayed up late watching racy movies (The Fast and the Furious parts 1-5) and buried each other in the sand to stay cool during the day.
