Great post Cyrus.  I wanted to add my recommendation for the Sales Bible.  This book motivates me on a daily basis.  If your feeling low or having a hard time looking at your Numbers get this book and get excited to try some of the techniques in it.  I have found just reading it will change my attitude and get me in the right mindset to get some business going.  This book also imparts in you the correct attitude of helping people get what they want in order to get what you want.  I am very much a part of the … (4 comments)

Best place to live in the nation?  According to last years money magazine we live in the best place in the country to live.  Fort Collins Colorado.  #1.

We all know how beautiful Colorado is.  The rocky mountains, the snow, the Bronco's!  Last year the awards just kept coming in.  #1 Best place to live Fort Collins Colorado.  #5 best place to be in business.  This year we fell to #8 best place to be in Business but top ten still works!  I love it here!  As a native i can tell you there is no place like home for Business or Pleasure!

Today i spent 6 hours in a CE class today.  As much as i dreaded this class i found it really good.  It was about fraud and fraud prevention.  The class was taught by the Federal HUD / RESPA investigator and a Lawyer.  We all hate these classes but we love to hear all the crazy stuff people have done and how much they paid to fix what they did.  Last years was much cooler because there was a lady who had just been running a serious game and she was getting looked into.  There was a lot of examples of loan … (4 comments)

What do we do when we are not an agent with 5 or more closings a month? 
I guess what i do it a return to basics about face.  I look back on what i have done before that has worked and i look back and give myself very honest feedback about how my work has been.
-Have i been calling my people?  Have i been keeping them up to date? (Buyers, Sellers, Renters or other Agents.)
-Have i followed up on all my leads.  I find when i am busy i tend to follow up on my good leads and let the ones … (5 comments)

We have recently started to put some silent sales man in the listings our team takes.  these cards let a buyer walking through the house know some of the special features on the house.  we might put a card on the wall that says.
-Central air conditioning! 
-Four Car Garage!
-Theater room w/ wet bar!
