fort collins real estate agent: Fort Collins Real Estate Stats - 05/19/09 08:01 AM
Great pages of information about Real Estate Sale Stat in Fort Collins. For more details call me anytime. As you can see in this first Slide the inventory has decreased in the lower price ranges. This is really what we expected as the first time home buyers seeking the $8,000.00 tax credit really are being in that range. As the economy remains uncertain we also find people are not buying the homes in the higher price ranges as much so the inventory in the higher priced homes is increasing. fort collins real estate agent: Recovery around the corner in Northern Colorado? - 04/28/09 10:43 AM
Real Estate Outlook: Indicators of Recovery, an article from Realty Times, examines some "extraordinarily positive signs" that are pointing to a recovery. Last week, new mortgage applications for home purchases and refinancings were up 77% from the same week last year. That's huge! Mortgage rates continue to average well below 5% - 4.7% last week for a 30-year fixed-rate mortgage. So far, nearly 600,000 homebuyers have already taken advantage of the $7,500 tax credit from last year, or the $8,000 credit for this year. The mortgage rebound is even creating a mini hiring boom. Hard-hit local housing markets across the country are

fort collins real estate agent: New Regulations for Lenders and Appraisors. - 04/24/09 09:18 AM
Upon Reading the Following blog: http://activerain.com/blogsview/1048450/REAL-ESTATE-INDUSTRY-MODELS-APPRAISAL-INDUSTRY-MODEL We were promised changed as Americans. Well, here comes the change whether we like it or not. There has been a lot of acticity on Activerain about the new law with appraisers coming May 1st. My lender informed me that some lenders have started the new change. Many people feel that property values will continue to go down with so many inexperienced appraisers out there. If an appraiser does not know the specialized neighborhood, then they will need to decline the order. Who is going to deny work when one has to pay the bills

Then in comes another last blast of winter putting a couple of feet of wet snow on the ground. I can tell you my yard has sure greened up and it makes for some great reasons to eat comfort food! Got News! Council declines request to change City Plan, an article from The Colorodoan, reports that council members declined city staff's request for direction to change the City Plan to accommodate what it calls inevitable retail growth along I-25. Mayor Pro-Tem Kelly Ohlson said, "I am supportive of moving forward and discussing all of the (interchanges), but we need to have more information about that before we can move in any direction. I would like to know if (any proposed changes) conflict with other areas of the City Plan."
