MARYLAND LAW HELPS HOAS WHEN A LENDER FORECLOSES - 05/07/11 06:15 PM
In case you missed it a MARYLAND LAW HELPS HOAS WHEN A LENDER FORECLOSES.
The Law gives condo/HOAs a four-month prority lien over any first mortgage recorded after October 1, 2011, capped at $1,200.  This Law is too late for todays foreclosures and is not as aggressive as some state Laws, but it is better than nothing. 
The Law provides some relief to neighbors in communities where foreclosures occur and fees are delinquent.  These neighbors would otherwise have to make up all the losses themselves.

ST MARY'S MARYLAND NEW RECLAMATION FACILITY TO SAVE MONEY ON ELECTRICAL COSTS - 05/07/11 05:55 PM
The new ST MARY'S MARYLAND RECLAMATION FACILITY may not sound very pretty but it is expected TO SAVE MONEY ON ELECTRICAL COSTS.
The system is the Marlay-Taylor Water Reclamation Facility in Lexington Park MD.
Two generators powered by 'captured' methane gas, previously a waste product from the treatment of wastewater, will produce electricity to supply the largest sewage treatment plant in St Mary's County MD.
