Key West - A Spring Break to Remember - 01/20/11 07:34 PM

Spring Break is on the horizon, and if the thought of another day at Disney World leaves you cold, pack up the family and head south, to the family-friendly Florida Keys!  You’ll not hear the words, “I’m bored,” as there are activities galore for every age and interest.

I like to start with the Key West Tropical Forest and Botanical Garden, because it soothes the senses. The garden showcases plants that are native to South Florida, Cuba, and the Caribbean.  The Garden is educational, because of their focus on threatened and endangered species of the Florida Keys. We’ll Catch You at This Year’s Key West Triple Threat Fishing Tournaments!  - 01/06/11 06:48 PM
The fun starts January 21-23, with the Key West Harbour King Mackerel Tournament. You’ll know when you hook one, because hundreds of yards of fishing line will disappear from your reel in mere seconds; kingfish will give you the fight of your life. This year’s top prize of $10,000 for the biggest fish. For more information, call 305-296-0364.
The Key West Fishing Tournament Kick-Off is March 11-13! Numbers are coming in higher than ever for tuna, snapper, … (0 comments)
