      <title>SHIPSHEWANA FLEA MARKET</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;SHIPSHEWANA FLEA MARKET AND AUCTION&lt;/strong&gt; is open May 6th through October 29, 2008 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.&amp;nbsp; You can find hundreds of vendors selling everything from fresh fruit to handcrafted furniture.&amp;nbsp; You will find antique, livestock and horse auction on the same grounds located on SR 5 in Shipshewana.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Don't leave town without experiencing home-style Amish or Mennonite cooking at several of the local resturtants.&amp;nbsp; It is a fun trip, whether you are from out of state or just down the road!&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <title>SHIPSHEWANA, INDIANA</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;SHIPSHEWANA-is located in the north western section of LaGrange County.&amp;nbsp; It was incorporated in 1916 and the town was named for Chief Shipshewana of the Potawatomi tribe that lived in the area.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Shipsheweana has a strong religious history.&amp;nbsp; The first settlement of Amish came to the area from Pennsylvania in 1844-many demoninations have settled in and around the area.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The population is about 540, with a police department and volunteer fire department.&amp;nbsp; Students attend Shipshewana-Scott Elementary School and Meadowview Elementary while the&amp;nbsp;5th through 12th grades attend Westview Junior and Senior High School.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Howe, Indiana is located in Lima Township-&lt;/strong&gt;which is the home to several of the LaGrange County 64 lakes. So whether you are an avid fisherman, a sports enthusiast or just enjoy the peace and tranquility of the water you will enjoy our lakes.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;South Twin Lake-&lt;/strong&gt;has 116 Acres with Sand, Marl and Gravel Bottom.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;North Twin Lake&lt;/strong&gt;-has 135 Acres with Sand, Marl and Gravel Bottom.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Cedar Lake&lt;/strong&gt;-has 120 Acres with Gravel and Marl Bottom.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Still Lake&lt;/strong&gt;-&amp;nbsp;has 30 Acres with Marl Bottom.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Pigeon Lake&lt;/strong&gt;-has 61 Acres with Gravel, Muck and Sand with smaller Buck Lake near by.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Mateer Lake-&lt;/strong&gt;18 Acres with Marl Bottom and smaller Duff Lake near by.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;We also have Pigeon River and Fawn River that flows through Lima Township making a great outdoor experience for everyone.&amp;nbsp; Indiana does have Boating Laws, Personal Water Craft Laws, Fishing Regulations and General License Regulations.&lt;/p&gt;

      <title>HISTORY OF HOWE, INDIANA</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;HOWE&lt;/strong&gt; was the first white settlement in LaGrange County, Indiana in 1834 then known as Mongoquinong because of the Potawatomi Indians who were native to this region.&amp;nbsp; the name was changed to Lima and then to Howe, afer John B Howe, a founder of the community's first bank.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The &lt;strong&gt;Howe Military School&lt;/strong&gt; was founded in 1884-it is a military school with co-educational military private college preparatory boarding school for students in grades 5 through 12.&amp;nbsp; The school is located on SR9 in Howe, Indiana and is affiliated with the Episcopal Church.&amp;nbsp; The &lt;strong&gt;St James Chapel&lt;/strong&gt; (which I have posted a photo) has hand-carved interior and holds recitals and concerts which are open to the public.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Howe also has a &lt;strong&gt;United Methodist Church&lt;/strong&gt; as well as the &lt;strong&gt;Lima Presbyterian Church&lt;/strong&gt; establised in 1833 (photo posed).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The &lt;strong&gt;Town Square Park&lt;/strong&gt; is located in the center of the quaint village of Howe, Indiana and serves a a gathering place for ice cream socials, Farmers Market&amp;nbsp;and various events for the community.&amp;nbsp; Howe has a population of approximately 1,000 with a volunteer fire department and a number of historic buildings and homes.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Elementary studenst attend &lt;strong&gt;Lima-Brighton School&lt;/strong&gt; (Kindergarten through 5th grade) then to Lakeland Junior and High School in LaGrange, Indiana.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

      <title>WHERE IS HOWE, INDIANA?</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;HOWE-&lt;/strong&gt;is in the northern part of LaGrange County, Indiana, approximately three miles south of Michigan state line,&amp;nbsp;it is the first village south of the I80-90 Toll Road, a major east-west highway which is one of the main arteries that brings traffic to the county.&amp;nbsp; SR9 runs directly south from the toll road and intersects with SR120, a major highway in Howe, Indiana.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
