Class is over and my head is spinning!!!!! - 05/28/09 02:41 PM
Today was the first of four classes led by Dave Hall of Listing Solutions on social networking and blogging. To be honest, I'm barely computer literate, so maybe to others this wouldn't be so mind blowing... There's so much more that can be done on these sites than merely chatting with friends and colleagues. He clued us in on ways to increase our internet presence and visibility that would never have entered my mind. Great class, terrific instructor, enlightening experience, and well-worth the money. I highly recommend this class to anyone serious about growing his business. (6 comments)
HVCC?????!!!!! - 05/24/09 01:37 PM
I've heard recently about the HVCC. After doing some very basic reading, I'm trying to ascertain how this could possibly help the current real estate market. It would be great if someone "in the know" would explain, and perhaps get some discussion going. If anyone knows of good resources I could check, I'd be very grateful. Until then, if you have information, opinions, etc. let's hear from you. Appraisals are getting very tricky, and determining a fair (to everyone) price is becoming more and more difficult. BTW - The rain has stopped in St. Augustine, and I'm seeing sun... Will this last?!!! (7 comments)

Fire danger and drought are no longer problems, and that's a very good thing, but I'm ready to dry out. My dog in the little yellow raincoat must be quite a sight for all the visitors to Anastasia Island. I hope all of you out there know that the rain will end, and the sun will come out again. In the meantime, there are plenty of great restaurants and cafes, stores, (1 comments)
Is it time to take a chance? - 05/19/09 08:26 PM
This month begins my third year as a realtor in St. Augustine, Florida... What an amazing time to get into the business! I believe now's the time to buy. Do I think we've hit bottom? I don't know, but the prices are so good that I'd hate to miss my dream home b/c I was waiting for it to go down another $5000 or $10000. Over the life of a mortgage, it's not enough money per month to risk losing a chance to own the home I've always wanted. This is such an exciting career, meeting so many wonderful buyers and sellers, seeing gorgeous homes I could (12 comments)
