The event kicks off with an "eco fair" on Saturday, April 24, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, followed by performances in the theatre at New City Hall (23825 Stuart Ranch Road) beginning at 7:00 pm. There is a second performance scheduled for Sunday, April 25, at 2:00 pm.
 The "eco fair" is free to the public and will also take place at the new Malibu City Hall located at 23825 Stuart Ranch Road.

Homebuyers to Receive $10,000 Tax Credit in New Program - 04/06/10 11:14 AM
Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger signed Assembly bill 183 designed to kick-start California real estate sales during the all important spring season when home sales get into high gear. Determined to encourage home ownership and at the same time promote job creation, the Governor signed the $200 million bill to provide new and first time homeowners with a tax credit that could reach as high as $10,000.
A previous program with a $100 million cap on the 2009 tax credit was successful, but the cap came before many interested homebuyers were able to take advantage of the government assistance program.

If you were wondering what to do with all those eggs you stayed up all night coloring. I've got a couple of ideas for you. Actually they're not my ideas but games that are played around the world by people celebrating Easter.
There's the Greek Egg-Tapping Game. Here each competitor uses a colored hard boiled egg. Many Greeks have secret methods forr selecting the strongest egg, and don't even try asking them about it. They'll deny, deny, deny.

April Fools' Day, or All Fools' Day, is the first day of April. No one knows where the custom began, but some historians believe it started in France. They had a New Year's festival that was celebrated from March 25 to April 1, and they would then exchange gifts. But, later, King James IV changed the holiday to January 1 for New Years. The people that still celebrated it April 1 were called 'April fish' and sent mock presents.
