I have in recent weeks become extremely annoyed with a bank that has has a short sale pending approval in its possession since April of this year. We have offered full market price for this condo and cannot get anyone to call back. This morning I received a call from another local realtor wanting to do a BPO on a property that foreclosed in August and was sold the 4th of September. She called me confused because Bank of America had ordered a BPO on the property and when she drove by the property she had seen that it had been almost torn down. Yes, my buyer took the property down to the foundation to re-build it and re-sell it. They closed on it almost 3 months ago now. It is such a prime example of how unorganized banks are. Somehow someone didn't communicate that the bank already foreclosed on the property. No wonder I can't get my short sale approved. Hats off to Wells Fargo, I do understand that they have streamlined their short sale process and organized it very efficiently. Let's hope that in the near future someone will take the bull by the horns and do the same with other banks. What a crazy field we are working in these days!
