Short Sales Really Should be named Long Sales - 08/29/11 06:43 PM
We all know what "short sale" means; however, the process is anything but short. Just this month, I closed two short sales that I have been working on since last September.  The sad part about it is that had the bank moved faster, they would have saved money in the long run.  The last one that I just closed ended up having 4 different contracts on it before we got one that closed.  Buyers  and sellers need to understand several aspects of a short sale, and they are:
