Christmas time in KC - 12/13/08 07:23 PM
Kansas City has the Christmas spirit! Everywhere I go, there are lights, decorations, and cheery people. Carolers who have been practicing for months are ready to serenade us. Those who enjoy cooking and libations are in seventh heaven with all of the treats and tastes laid out. Shoppers are taking advantage of all of the sales - and we have loads of sales this year, as I'm sure you've noticed.

Christmas Lights in Kansas City - 12/12/08 10:45 PM
During the past week, I have attended two Christmas parties, helped to decorate two Christmas trees, and taken two driving tours of Christmas lights around Kansas City. Whew! I love Christmas but all of these activities on top of my regular real estate work made for some very long days. Here are a few pictures of sights that I found enjoyable. Santa Claus is coming to town. - 12/06/08 11:15 PM
The Plaza lights are on, Crown Center is lit up, downtown is lit, Town Center is lit, Zona Rosa is lit; there are so many lights I'll never get to see them all. Plus the lights people hang on their homes - no way can I get to every venue. Well, St. Nick could, I guess. He's about the only one who could magically travel to every publicly lit display and all of the beautiful displays individuals have put up this year.

The Country Club Plaza has been lighting up since the 1930's. Every Thanksgiving thousands of light go on … (2 comments)

 I'm taking the Senior Real Estate Specialist class this week and part of the class was an overview of the generations.
The GI Genereation are those people aged 79 & older; we have about 6 people in that group in class.
The Silent Generation, ages 60-78, about 15 in our class.
The Baby Boomers, ages 41-59, most of our class fall into this category.
Generation X, ages 29-40, about 10.
Generation Y, ages 11-28, none in our class.
Generation Z, ages 10 and under, have not yet entered the work force.
