There were 334 single family homes sold in zip code 64114 during 2011. The Waldo area has been a popular dancing and dining venue for Kansas Citians for a very long time. I know a few 80 and 90 year olds who remember taking the Trolley over to Waldo for a night out on the town way back when. The music and the establishments have changed but the atmosphere is still lively. The homes, overall, are more modest than the majority of homes found in Brookside so it's a great option for home buyers who are watching their pennies.

March of 2009 as compared to March of 2008: Currently, we have 18,553 active listings in Heartland MLS. We have oscillated between 17,000 and 22,000 over the last year.The average sales price in March was $150,788, last March it was $167,790. That is down 10%.There were 2287 Pending contracts this March; 2879 last March.There were 2105 Closed sales this March; 2490 last March. ~same same. 5,106 total sales in the 1st Quarter of 2009 and 6,411 total sales in the 1st Quarter of 2008.
