Wonderful almost wordless Wednesday on the Crystal Coast I think if you can take a minute to savor the moments that it's the little things that cost nothing and can give you the greatest joy.  Last night I stepped out on my deck to enjoy the unbelievable moon.  Past full a couple of days ago but still awesome.  It's rays shone down on the ocean making silver threads of the breaking waves and I realized once again how blessed I am to live on an island.  Thanks God!

Almost Wordless Wednesday on the Crystal Coast - 03/03/10 10:47 AM
I have no idea what the real name is for this but I call it PURPLE SEA GRASS.  It's planted all around my neighborhood of Beacon's Reach in Pine Knoll Shores adding a wonderful touch of color during the winter when most of our flowers are not blooming.  It is as soft to the touch as it looks.
