I've been thinking a lot about my header lately. It needed some updating (you can see my new one above). So I've been looking around Active Rain for examples of excellent headers. What I have found is that a lot of people on Active Rain don't use headers. That's a real missed opportunity to further brand your business. Of the folks that are using headers, they aren't maximing the benefit of a good branding header. Here are some guidelines to get you started. Great tips on antique windows from Amy. Via Amy McAllister Realty LLC : On many of our houses we have used antique stained glass windows to add character and beauty. We have found the windows at places like Antiques & Oddities in Bingen, WA or Rejuvenation in Portland, Oregon. Usually when you find an antique stained glass window it will have been removed from it's casing and will possibly have just wood surrounding the glass art. usually with multiple layers of paint and sometimes in very rough condition. Breaking News: Tax Credit Extended and Expanded - 11/06/09 02:38 PM
Hot off the press: The first time home buyers tax credit has been extended until April 30, 2010 and expanded. There are higher qualifying limits for single and married home buyers. The program has also been expanded to include existing homeowners who have been in their properties for at least 5 years. Existing home owners who buy a new home qualify for a $6,500 tax credit. #2 - Better Access to More Houses There are loads of wonderful properties on realtor.com. You might find just what you are looking for. Despite the incredible number of homes on realtor.com not everything is listed there. Realt estate agents often know about homes that will go on the market weeks in advance. If this is a really desirable house in a perfect location then timing is key. If you're not friends with a real estate agent that house may be sold the same day it is listed. Likwise your realtor friend knows all the houses that just left the market
