blogging: Immediacy and a Bit of Delayed Gratification Too - 11/21/08 01:54 PM
We can search the Web and see our words. It's what excites us ... our words ... our thoughts ... our very personal contribution to that massive, ethereal world of expression. Blogging is right-now, in-your-face communication. Its immediacy is obvious, feedback and all. We have little patience in our high-speed world, and blogging does not disappoint. blogging: On Active Rain, Just About Everything Serves a Purpose - 06/23/08 09:34 PM
We can market ourselves in just about everything we post. It is an opportunity we did not have before in exactly the same way. I guess I was surprised to see it, and I am not sure what to make of it. Doesn't it sort of defeat the purpose of blogging? Maybe, in certain applications, it's useful? Would love to hear your comments on this one ....

We also have CAPITALIZATION, bolding and underscoring. Or maybe our posts could read like screen plays. "That's a great idea, John [rolling my eyes]." We also have the option of being so outrageous in
