Well, those delightful creatures have made a nice meal out of my hostas again this year.
They are very brazen in my neck of the woods. In fact, there is one particular deer whom I consider to be "My Deer." She spends most of her day here munching away or sleeping and is not fazed at all if I pass by. Unless, of course, I start my car or point a camera.
I am training her to eat weeds and, look, it's working!

It is one thing for buyers to be ignorant about building materials, but quite another for Realtors. If we take the time to do a bit of research before showing a home, we may have a better chance of selling it. Very often, I find myself explaining cedar-shake siding!
I am not usually present when another Realtor shows my listing, but because I had not yet installed a lock box, I had the opportunity to be there. The agent looked the house up and down with an expression of disgust, and the potential buyer noticed!
