The great news about FHA financing is that FICO scores are not nearly as important as they are in conventional financing. A common misconception with FHA financing is that you will not qualify if you make too much money. That is simply not the case. My preffered lender told me last week that he is doing an FHA loan for a client making 400K per year.
I brought a client to see The Lofts on Beach yesterday. They are truly stunning, especially for those of us that love living in an open, airy and decidedly white space. The Marina Loft District is an area of Marina Del Rey just east of Lincoln blvd. and south of Washington Blvd. Before the transformation began, the area consisted mostly of commercial buildings used for Storage, Towing companies, and office space. I must admit, I am not sorry to see the tow companies go!
The Marina Loft District still looks a bit like a construction zone with buildings in differing stages of completion, but some of the projects are finished and people are moving in...When all the buildings are complete, there will be over 800 new residences.
One of the major draws to The Marina Loft District is the close proximity to the beach and marina. Both are just a short bike ride away. There is also plenty of shopping, dinning and entertainment within walking distance. You can even walk to the new Pinkberry on Lincoln. Reason enough for me to buy a new loft or condo!
