In my market update for Q1, I had suggested that the first quarter of 2010 may have marked the turnaround in the Marin County real estate market, and this appears to be borne out by the second quarter results. Once again, both single family homes and condos registered price increases, both over the previous quarter and when compared to the same quarter in the previous year. Single family homes in Novato, where prices were still dropping in Q1 have seen a strong reversal, with prices up 20% over Q1 and 18% from Q2-2009. The price of condos is a bit of
