I'm Not Scared!

Even though Real Estate is a new area for me. I am not intimidated. I do at times feel a bit ovewhelmed by it all.
I respect the market and what it stands for. My background is in Business Management, I do have an MBA and I was also in the military many moons ago. I worked in man prestigious government agencies, manly in investigation and recovery of assets.
The challenge for me now is, how do I parlay these experiences into something good and marketable. I am a good talker, I am also good on the net. I thought about a few things I wanted to explore, but I am also obsessive when I do that. I get so caught up in the research.
Presently, I am at the early stages of more going out than coming in. I am definately a realist.
Also, in my fields I teach on a regular basis and write instructional manuals in the subject matter of which I am well versed.
I see many marketing ideas. But they almost all fit into the routine as usual. Even the innovation of "teams" and "team building" to me is a bit antiquated, given the present market conditions.
So how does the new kid on the block enter the race without loosing their soul? I have a plan, of course it is a marketing plan. One thing we learned in church was to always have respect and give and ear to "old school". The Elders. We would be no where without them. I am also headed there myself.
