This will be another planning meeting for the Relay coming up in June - If you would like to come out and get involved as a volunteer for the event, please come to the meeting!The office is on the little walkway above the old ice surface at the Rec Centre - If you need detailed directions, please let us know!

We are now featuring all of our listings on CREN TV.  In cooperation with the Calgary Real Estate Board we are using the CREN TV feature section of the Calgary Real Estate now so that all of our listing appear in the weekly newspaper in a 2 unit ad and are featured on shaw Channel 90 weekdays at 5:30 pm 9:30 pm and at 10 am on Saturdays and Sundays.

It seems like only yesterday that I was at the 2009 Winterfest.  This is a great family event. Here is a list of the events that you can participate in.  This year there will be a special Olympic flair added to this event.

Chestermere Olympic Torch Relay Celebration January 19 at 11:15 to 1:45 - 01/03/10 05:53 PM

Quite a celebration is being placed for Tuesday January 19 as the Olympic Torch passes through Chestermere.  There will be Speakers, Fiddlers, Stomp Dancers, arrival of the torch and lighting of the Caldron, Doves will be released, the Chestermere High School Bank will play, the Chestermere elementary schools choir will sing, an acapella performance, and Coke and RBC entertainment will participate.
The public can park at the rec centre.  Handicapped parking will be available at the library, a seniors shuttle will be available from the rec centre. 
All Chestermere School children will be bussed to th celebration.
