chestermere news: Chestermere Lake Levels To Drop Starting October 10th. - 10/08/11 07:58 PM

Chestermere lake is a 750 Acre Lake just 5 miles outside the City of Calgary.  As it is an irrigation lake the water levels are dropped in the fall to protect the irrigation system and the boat docks.
The levels are once again increased as soon as the ice is off of the lake.
Chestermere lake is a town of 16000 residents.  There is a good selection of homes from $229,000 for a condo, $400,000 for a single family home, and $700,000 for a lakefront building lot.

Chestermere Lions Club Presents the Fifth Annual Pumpkin Patch
Raising money for local Chestermere Projects.
October 15th at Mountain View Cemetary from 10 A.M. until all of the pumpkins are gone!
Pumpkins are $10 each. There will be hot dogs, juice boxes and a story corner.
Sponsored by Mountain View Cemetary, The Anchor, Tim Hortons, Chestermere Public Library,

chestermere news: The Chestermere Laker Has Published It's First Edition..There is a lot of Chestermere News! - 07/17/10 06:43 PM
What is new in Chestermere.  Apparently quite a lot!   The Chestermere Laker has published the first edition of their weekly newspaper.  This is what you will find in it!
Lyme Disease Ticks have been found on pets in Chestermere!  Who knew? 
The town does not know what to do with the weeds from the lake!  Who is surprised? 
Pointy breasts are too sexy for a sign in Chestermere!  I never knew we had guidelines for that did you? 
The sportsplex cannot get financing so it probably won't happen!  Too bad.

chestermere news: The Chestermere Laker is Chestermere's New Newspaper Coming This Weekend. - 07/06/10 11:30 PM

This weekend Chestermere will receive it's first copy of the Chestermere Laker.  A new newspaper will be coming to our doors.  Operating out of 140 East Chestermere Drive, The Chestermere Laker will be taking a good look at what is happening in Chestermere, and will keep us informed.  Good luck!
