Music by the Sea, a FREE outdoor concert series at the St. Augustine Beach Pier, is back!  Here is the schedule until the end of June.
Grab your chair, your favorite beverage and come on out to the Pier. Unwind and enjoy Hump Day – through the summer, dinner starts at 6 and music at 7.

Florida Caverns not as scary as I thought. - 05/20/10 11:38 AM
We recently took a break from selling homes in St Augustine to visit one of the most unique State Parks in Florida, Florida Caverns State Park. I was amazed by the huge underground wonderland of dazzling formations.
I’m tall, pretty darn tall at 6’1”, and I was a little nervous entering the underworld with its dark narrow passages and low ceilings.  To be honest, I was scared to death during my descent.  But, oh my, what beauty welcomed us ... limestone stalactites, stalagmites, soda straws, flowstones and draperies.  Once inside I was mesmerized by the natural beauty that surrounded us.

Free Concerts at the Pier in St. Augustine - 05/15/10 12:10 PM
St. Augustine Beach Pier Park is the place to be on Wednesday evenings!  Gather with your friends, meet your neighbors, have fun and relax.  Beth Ruggeri has the line-up for the first 2 weeks.

The Little Rascals and Arbor Day - 05/08/10 11:44 AM
Arbor Day always reminds me of the Little Rascals.  I was introduced to Arbor Day by Spanky and his Gang.  Do you remember the episode where Spanky plays hooky to ditch his school's pageant and midgets disguise themselves as children and they perform a racy little number in the show?

No need for truancy for St. Augustine Beach's Arbor Day ceremonies.  They are set for 5:30 p.m., Friday, at City Hall, A1A South.
There will even be a "pageant" of sorts, featuring the St. Augustine High School guitar ensemble, a poetry contest featuring St. Augustine High School winners and R.B. Hunt … (3 comments)
