St. Augustine Capital of the First Coast? - 08/12/10 08:54 AM

First Settlement:  St. Augustine is the first European settlement in the Americas.
First African Community:  Fort Mose was the first community for ex-slaves founded here in 1738 by the Spanish.
First Parish:  The Cathedral Basilica is the first Catholic parish in North America.
