Monday's are always crazy days in the real estate world. Usually the weekends are crazy busy and Monday is about catching up with all of your sellers, opening up an escrow or two if you are lucky, putting together the plan for the week and starting to make all of those phone calls we need to make. I find that by the end of the day on Monday I am pretty well beat so I thought it might be a good idea to start a post of photographs that help people unwind. Here is a shot I took of the famous Lone Cypress Tree in Pebble Beach. It was a beautiful evening with a great sunset and the surf was pretty active. What a beautiful subject to take photos of. I took over 200 photos that evening of the Cypress and finally the light failed me and it was time to pack it in. If you have been to Pebble Beach, you have certainly seen the Lone Cypress. So I am trying to have a little more fun with my blog by posting some of the photography I have been lucky enough to be able to take here on the beautiful Monterey Peninsula. The old blog needs a little bit more than just real estate statistics and homes for sale and the occasional ranting of the author about something that happened earlier that week. This picture was taken in Pacific Grove, CA along Ocean View Boulevard just before the Pacific Grove Golf Course at a place the locals call "Kissing Rock." Just for fun I thought I would upload a picture I took of the Point Pinos Lighthouse in Pacific Grove, CA. For those of you who don't know, the Point Pinos Lighthouse is the oldest continuously operating lighthouse on the west coast. It was put into operation in February 1, 1855 and has been a beacon of light warning sailors of the potential rocky dangers off the coast and it marks the southern tip of the Monterey Bay.
