Supervisors Pushing Hard in North Idaho
With the continued snow fall, and now near zero temps daily, extra work necessary. While Frosty was here for the Holidays I thought I might get some extra help from a professional in the snow field. As it turns out both Halley and Frosty were of the Supervisory positions only.
Bad enough having to do all the work myself they insisted I get a pic of them together until Frosty returns again next year. Have to wonder sometimes.

Sandpoint Town Center Water Fountain
Across from Farmin Park in Sandpoint Idaho is the Town Center water fountain. Just last week was the annual Christmas tree lighting. During the summer the water fountain springs to life. Adults enjoy sitting and watching as children play in the alternating blasts of water. This day a dog stole the show. He was non stop chasing, and biting, geyser after geyser of sprouting water.

A moose is something you expect to see in the open fields or mountains. Certainly not laying in someone's backyard in Sandpoint Idaho. Yet a moose seen inside city limits of Sandpoint Idaho happens often enough that locals are used to it. Not that we ever become immune to the size of these beasts nor the fact they seem to have become perfectly at ease with these surroundings. Of course with their size one can see why they would be comfortable most anywhere.

Weekend Movie - Tom Cruise - 'Never Go Back'
I have been looking forward to this film for a long while now. I may have inadvertantly made a mistake in my timing in seeing it. With that said I was at the Bonners Mall Theaters in Ponderay-Sandpoint Idaho for the first showing at 11:10AM Friday morning. I enjoyed the movie. Enjoyed Tom Cruise's performance. And of course reading the books makes character 'Jack Reacher' seem like an old friend.

I can not help but think that when plans were made for the street directional changes to be completed Sandpoint Idaho the inclement weather of the past 3 weeks was not on the schedule.
Down town Sandpoint City streets are being revised from one way to two-way traffic. While that change brings its own challenges, IMO, when planning on implementing in November with winter weather soon to follow, if not already here, striping will be difficult to see. That will only add to an already confusing situation.

I enjoy my morning Sunday rides with Halley. Especially enjoy a short trip up to Schweitzer Ski Resort in the period between the summer events and the winter ski season. Mojo Cafe stays open year round so a mocha always there to enjoy. Today found spectacular views to Lake Pend Oreille with the sun doing its best to break thru at the far side of the lake over Hope Idaho.

Bonners Mall Cinemas continue to impress me. Even though not a mega theater, nor large one, it does always show new releases. October has seen some good releases overall and I was pleasantly surprised today. Glancing at the marque I saw 'Accountant' showing.
