It all started with our outdated kitchen needing an update and then the project grew and grew...

 
I have only great things to say about Bill our contractor.  He is always on time, takes the time to explain everything for us and most importantly does what he says he is going to do. After 2-3 months of going back and forth with plans and estimates we agreed to get the project started.  Which now includes:
 
A new kitchen with extension New home office Moving a bathroom Siding Roof Central air Additional bedroom "minor" updating in the living room … (9 comments)

The worst massage ever
Last night I went to a day spa (name withheld for now) in River Edge NJ to get a deep tissue massage.  I should have canceled at the first sign something was off but here is what happened and why it was the worse massage ever:
11:00 AM Thursday         I called in the morning to make an appointment with a specific massage therapist.  Great all set for 7 PM (love the late appointment so you can go home and go right to bed).  I was informed I couldn’t cancel since it was day of etc.  … (4 comments)

bergen county: Biking in Bergen County, NJ– Avoid Bergenfield! - 06/29/10 07:18 PM
I have been bike riding around a number of towns in Bergen County for the last couple of years.  Here is some advice for my fellow cyclists:
Avoid Bergenfield when Biking in Bergen County, NJ. 
I have found the roads in Bergenfield to be in the worst condition compared to other Bergen county towns.  Now I understand roads get worn out and degrade over time but Bergenfield has not taken care of any of their streets.  There are pot holes of all shapes, sizes and depths, cracks, debris on the ground and anything else you can imagine that would negatively … (0 comments)

bergen county: Bicycling in Bergen County with the Tenafly Bicycle Workshop - 06/13/10 08:25 PM
As a lover of bike riding (the non motor version – that you pedal) I am always looking for a great ride in Bergen County, NJ.  I ride solo a few times a week but going with a group has a number of benefits, such as:
People to keep you company People to help if something goes wrong (hit by a car – it happens) flat tire, get lost etc… You can go longer distances (or faster if that is your goal) since the group keeps you motivated Find new roads and paths to take Last week I found a group … (1 comments)
