We go straight from all the hustle and bustle of the holiday season right into basketball.  When you have three children playing you sit on a lot of bleachers. I have two that are in grade school at James L. Collins Catholic and we play all our games on the weekends and most of them are played in the Dallas Area.  We also have a soph attending St. John Catholic HS in Ennis. Of course they play during the week and we travel all over the area.  St. John HShas a young team this year as they lost all their seniors.  We only have one Jr and the rest are fresh and soph playing at varsity level.  We are 2/0 in district so we are off to a good start. Ellis and Navarro counties seem to take their sport seriously and they have a good record when its comes to sportsmanship.  I love that my kids are involved because I think they gain a lot of life values when they are so closely involved with others and have to learn how to win and lose.
