I have to thank Fred Glick for sharingthe latest information about Fannie Mae expanding its loan portfolio to allow for up to ten financed properties for individual borrowers. This new policy is a change in course for Fannie Mae that had been limiting the maximum number of financed properties to four. This expansion of Fannie's lending guidelines will be effective on March 1st, of 2009. The psychology of making investments, including purchasing a home, is a funny thing. The perception during a boom, stock or housing, is that values and prices will always go higher. In other words, "You can't lose." And by this same reasoning, during a bust or contraction, there is always the lingering doubt about whether prices and values will go lower. Nobody wants to invest in something only later to find out that if they had waited 6, 12, or 24 months later, they could have bought the same stock or house for less. For a while now I have been talking about my new book, It's The Housing Market, Stupid!that will be available by the middle of this month. I have also been talking about my housing and economic stimulus plan that is revealed in the book. The plan that doesn't involve a bailout. The plan that could work incredibly well, and if it doesn't, won't cost the taxpayers any money. Additionally, I have been talking about that despite November 4th being a historic day that I believe should make every American proud to be an American, I have been quick to remind myself
