Also known as a Michigan U-Turn the new ThrUTurn will be coming to Draper, UT.  It is going to go in at the intersection of 12300 South and State Street.  To view the project you can go to www.udot.utah.gov/thruturn, where they have a video simulation.  The design has been successfully implemented in other states and is designed to help improve traffic flow.  The idea of puttting a ThrUTurn in this area is due to the excessive delays during peak travel times.  This was the most practical of all the options and would have the lowest impact on local business.

The plans for the 20,000 square foot facility were unvieled by Slat Lake Coutny and ETA Architects at a recent lunchen.  Menber of the comunity were thrilled to see the plans for the center that will feature several activities.  Here are some of the activites that seniors will be able to take part in at the new facitliy.

News on South Mountain HOA - 01/22/11 10:33 AM
News from the South Mountain HOA.  After our first meeting since October several new where brought up.
The association is still looking into putting on an event at the new Draper Ampiltheater possibly in August.  We are looking into a bluegrass festival, thought there are still several details to iron out. Lights are needing replacement on several directional signs around South Mountain. Several trees have died and looking into replacing them after finding out how to get more success with them in those areas where we seem to be losing them. Draper community meeting on new high school - 01/21/11 09:07 PM
Just to let everyone know who is interested in the new high school coming to Draper, Ut.  There is going to be a meeting at the city hall on February 3, 2011 at 6:30 to discuss the site location for the new high school.  This will take place at Draper City Hall on Pioneer Rd.  This is very exciting to see that we will get a new high school in Draper and I am looking forward to seeing the plans for the new school.

FHA Update - 01/14/11 07:54 PM
Just in!!  FHA is making it easier to get a home loan.  How?  credit scores of 500 or better can buy with 10% down, and 600 or better cany buy with 3.5% down.  This includes closing costs which may be paid by the seller.  With economists forecasting a flat market to a 3% gain for Utah this year this will not make the market jump, but help some buyers. … (0 comments)
