I just received a call from someone who recently listed their home with another realtor in the area. She was very concerned that she had signed a contract with the agent but he had not performed any of the marketing that he had promised. She felt that he was very good at selling her on the fact that he is a great agent but he wasn’t doing anything to sell her house! When I asked her to give me details, she told me that the agent met with her for (8 comments)
Some people mark the beginning of summer by the last day of school. Others by the start of the baseball season. I mark it by the first of the many Hot Rod shows in the Vancouver / Portland Metro area. One of the first to pop up each year is the Rose City Round-Up and I never miss it!What draws me to the Rose City Round-Up is the feeling of "fun" that surrounds the show. Anything goes when it comes to cars and motorcycles. Rust isn't an issue and in most cases, it is encouraged. (3 comments)
Mike Gibbs was in a tough spot. He needed to sell his home but he knew that he owed much more money that it was worth. He called us and asked for help. We successfully sold his home and negotiated with the banks so that he was not required to bring any money to the closing table and he is protected from any future judgements from the bank.If you enjoyed this post, you can find more like it in the following links: Video Testimonial - The Schulling's Sell Their Home in Just 4 Hours!Laura and Brian's New Home - Video (3 comments)

Waiting for coffee at Starbucks, in line at the grocery store, at the gym, most anyplace that people gather, I am asked about the market. Today was no different. What varied a little was my answer. ”Yes, this is an awesome time for real estate in Vancouver Washington!” The reason that I am so bullish today is that we are seeing some interesting things happen that haven’t happened in a long (3 comments)

Here is the national real estate report for June 2012. Our Keller Williams International office produces this awesome video each month and I post it here for my clients, friends and family. What repairs do you think are the most common for sellers to make before listing their home? It wasn't what I thought. Watch this video for more valuable information. Although this is a national report and does not take into account some of the nuances that you may be experiencing in your area, the information is still timely and useful for anyone who is considering buying or selling a home.
