This ever-changing market has caused many of us who remain in the trenches to work harder for less money.  Working Short Sales and REO's adds many hours of additional work to our workload.  Surprisingly, there has been a practice among some lenders to attempt to balance their books with the real estate brokers paychecks.  Well, Fannie Mae said enough!

Laguna Woods Village (formerly known as Leisure World) is a Seniors (55 and better) community located in the City of Laguna Woods, California.  There are approximately 15,000 residences and 18,000 residents.  The close proximity to the beautiful coastal city of Laguna Beach, about 10 minutes away and it's location atop gently rolling hills overlooking Saddleback Valley make it a most desirable place to live.  The community is guard-gated and offers many ammenities including 18 holes of golf for only $8 for residents and their guests.

Myth #1 - The desert is dry, dusty, colorless and boring.
Myth #2 - The Road Runner is a very fast bird and even Wylie Coyote couldn't catch him.
 
The photos below were snapped in a friend's backyard in La Quinta, California (near Palm Springs) last weekend.  As you can see, there is color, color everywhere...There goes Myth #1...And, I'm nowhere as fast as good 'ol Wylie Coyote and this guy let me follow him around for about 10 minutes...There goes Myth#2!

Postage Increase - An Opportunity To WOW Our Clients - 02/21/09 04:02 AM
It's official - postage is going up again.  The current cost of 42 cents for a 1 ounce letter will increase to 44 cents beginning May 11.   New postage rates effective May 11, 2009. 
Even though most of us are doing almost all of our bill paying online, we all need to actually put a stamp on a few things each month. So, I'm going to be sending all my past and current clents ten 2 cent stamps just to tide them over until they can get to the post office.  I plan to send along a "green" letter to explain that I want to save them … (6 comments)
