Annapolis is as diverse as the three zip codes that make up what we call Annapolis. Well actually there are a few more, such as the zip code for the Naval Academy, but we will focus on the three main zip codes 21401, 21403 and 21409. One day as I was out and about Annapolis and visiting Jonas Green Park by The Naval Academy Bridge I ventured up on the bridge itself. I have lived in and around Annapolis my entire life and yet I had not ever walked across this bridge. The summer Annapolis 21401 Real Estate market is seeing a jump in available homes for sale compared to the spring market. Under contracts have jumped as well except in the $750,000 and above price range where they declined. Solds and settles have dropped or broke even in all price points except the $1,000,000 and up which rose from an average of 1 per month to 4.
There were 445 homes, townhouses and condos in the Annapolis 21401 real estate market for sale as of 8/16/10, an increase in inventory of just over 14% from the spring … (0 comments)

Just over a month ago I wrote a post about two barn swallows who built a nest in my garage. At first I was apprenhensive about the possibility of baby birds in my garage but then I became excited and couldn't wait until they arrived. Well they are here!

Ahhh Annapolis... The Stories Never End Many moons ago when I was in my 20's I worked on Main St in Annapolis MD. It was back in the day of small Mom and Pop stores and years before the big Annapolis Mall took shape out on the outskirts of town. Everyone still shopped downtown, worked downtown and hung out downtown.Down the street from my work was a place called Chick & Ruth's Delly.
