Well, here we go again.  OHFA, better know as Ohio Housing Finance Agency which was formed 25 years ago to enable first time home buyers in the state of Ohio an opportunity to purchase their first home.  It was announced this morning that the program for the DPA is being suspended.  I keep thinking that there will be some GOOD news announced about our chances of survival as Realtors, but the negative news just keeps pouring in.  Hang on to your hats ladies and gentlemen, the lousy ride isn't anywhere near over yet!

I've been thinking.  Since our awesome government is so concerned about whether or not out title company gives us a jar of candy or anything; maybe it's time we insist that THEY DO NOT receive gifts and contributions!!!  Just think of how nice it would be without the thousands of TV commercials every 5 minutes blaring the messages of our candidates. 
It's not like we can believe them anyway, right?  He said-she said crap is for kids, not adults!  Anyway, back to my original topic.  What is so wrong with a title company or mortgage company giving us gifts or things … (0 comments)

Well the Monroe Hornets had their annual homecoming parade tonight.  Or, maybe I'm mistaken.  Actually, I am confused.  The young adults were riding on the tops of the back seats of the shiny sports cars like usual.  But the part that confused me was; most of the girls were wearing JEANS.  What happened to the big fancy-expensive dresses-gowns that the girls used to wear?  Am I that far behind the times?  I'm pretty sure it was the homecoming game because the beautiful girls had their male counterparts, in their football uniforms of course, at their sides.

This is the kind of market that millionaires are made from!!!  I wish I had the money to be busy buying up real estate with.  There are bargains on every corner!  Yes folks, the housing market WILL return to it's previous levels!  It may not return as quickly as you would like for it to, but it WILL be back!
To give you an example of what I am talking about.  I recently showed a HUD owned home in Hamilton Ohio.  HUD put it out on the market a month earlier priced at 48k.  That in itself was a bargain.  In less … (0 comments)

"No money down" is still alive and thriving today!  But, that's where you need to be a little bit savvy and know where to look.  I'm not talking about a shady guy in a dark alley passing out green backs.
I'm talking about money from the Federal government.  It's things like this that will help keep you out in front of your competition.  (knowing how to get your clients financed in these difficult times)
