I recently posted a request for some agents to handle some leads for us.
Our brokerage is approaching 50 agents and we have only been in business a mere 6 months.
Part of our rapid growth and success is due in part to the high volume of leads that we are providing our agents.
The other part is the huge commission splits that we offer!

If you are a Realtor and your company charges your a 5-7% franchise fee on every closing, additional $199 buyer commission or more, on a 65% split, and are paying "desk fees" and so on....WHY are you still doing it??? Our company does not charge franchise fees, we do not charge the buyer $199 to use our services, we do not charge desk fees and the majority of our agents are getting 90% commission and we even give them referral's to help grow their business! Our brokerage is located in Centerville Ohio within Montgomery County.
We are opening an additional office in Oakwood, a suburb of Dayton very soon.

I've been blogging on here and on Facebook pleading for other agents to help with the flow of new buyer leads we are getting the past few days...
I don't know if agents are too afraid to leave their current companies or what, but the expected amount of agents coming aboard is no where near where we need to be!!!
Our company was just born on Friday and we're already approaching two dozen agents, but we REALLY need MORE ASAP!!!

Just stopping by to wish everyone a very Happy New Year!
My last one ended well. I just got 2 more accepted contracts a few days ago. I'm beginning to list HUD owned homes. (the jury is still out on that one) LOL.
My business partner and I are picking up new clients on a daily basis. It helps when people find out about our experitise in writing offers and getting them accepted for HUD homes.
There are so many agents out there who don't have a clue about selling HUD homes. It takes an experienced agent to get the job … (1 comments)

Am I the only agent who is very highly upset about HUD's new earnest money policy? I think NOT.
I've been pleading with anyone who will listen at HUD and have even asked NAR to intervene.
Here's my complaint. First of all, I show and sell a LOT of HUD owned homes all over the map in SW Ohio.
When I show a HUD owned home to a client, they typically do not know for sure whether or not they intend on bidding on the home until after they've viewed it. IF they decide to write an offer, we fill out … (2 comments)

As an agent, you should look into using the Lowe's Realtor Benefits program.
It is a GREAT and FREE tool for you to use in keeping in touch with your clients. Plus they receive a 10% off coupon. Your name, picture, logo and contact information are included with each mailing.
You can choose to send the cards via email or by using snail mail.
I sign up every one of my clients with this free and easy to use program. I'm always looking for ways to help my clients, no matter what. Plus, you sure cannot beat the price!!!

I am very sorry that I haven't updated my blog lately. However, I have a GREAT excuse for not doing so!
Contrary to popular belief, some Realtors are VERY busy! I just happen to be one of them. I am working with several buyers and a few very large investor buyers. I'm not sure why the media keeps downplaying our industry, but I can definitely see a huge increase in MY business!!!
